Giuseppe Monaco, at a ceremony held at the Centro di Arte Contemporanea Bannata &#8211; Enna.<\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was preceeded by a presentation on indigenous culture delivered by Maria Sanciolo-Bell, President of I.C.S.A. .<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_341\" style=\"width: 182px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istitutoculturasiciliaustralia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SOS_4068.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-341\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-341\" title=\"SOS_4068\" src=\"https:\/\/www.istitutoculturasiciliaustralia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/SOS_4068-172x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"172\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-341\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Wawi - Only painting of the exhibition Sicilian Dreaming painted on papirus paper<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Maria Sanciolo-Bell also accompanied the official party on a guided tour of the exhibition, elaborating on the themes, the techniques and the inspiration behind the paintings.<\/p>\n<p>A cocktail, held in the gardens of the centre, concluded the celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>The event was framed by aboriginal images and music and a visual presentation of photos of the artist&#8217;s tour in Sicily.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Images of paintings by Billy Doolan are copyright of the artist.
